Dear Club Members and Friends:

The 2008 Polo Season at Point Clear promises to be an exciting and event filled season featuring approximately 25-30 club members and Pros, not including any guest players.  Four fields will be available to us for 2008.  There are weekend sponsorship opportunities available if any of you wish to host a weekend or know of any private or corporate interest.  Please contact the club manager if you have any interest in sponsoring a weekend.  The weekend sponsorship package and information is also available on our club website.  Club games and tournaments will be played at the 2-4 and 6-8 goal levels unless otherwise specified.

All players must be registered with the USPA and sign a liability release.  You will not be allowed to play if you have not paid your USPA and club dues.  You can register on-line at http://www.uspolo.org/ or call the USPA at 800.232.8772.  In addition, all horses should have a current (within the calendar year) negative Coggins test.

Annual dues are due and payable by March 15th. There will be an assessment levied by the Board for dues paid after March 15th.

Practice Chukkers will be available Thursdays and other days during the week depending on demand and field availability.  The remnants of Field 2 will be open for stick and ball practice Wednesdays and Fridays based on conditions.  Sign-up deadlines for Weekend Games and Tournaments is 6 PM Wednesday.  Please call the Club Manager, Mikhal Faulkner, at 251.928.POLO.
